| Hostel | |
The
splendid building of Indraprastha Hostel constructed in 1952 can accommodate upto 200 students and
is set amidst green stretch of lawns.  The hostel has a spacious and
comfortably furnished visiting room, and a common room equipped with a table tennis
table and several indoor games as well as an audio visual system. The hostel matron and
warden live in the same college premises and are always available. Over the years, the
hostel has housed students from all over the country and several from other countries
also. |

| Medical Facilities | |
| The Medical room is located next to the College hostel. It has a qualified doctor and a nurse, who are available during college hours. First Aid facilities are available to cope with everyday injuries & other problems. | |
| Library | |
 Our library, the result
of accumulation of 75 years, has precious , out of print, rare volumes. It has a
collection 78,302 books, 5,350 bound journals; 20 sets of encyclopedias, 110
regular journals and magazines and 11
everyday newspapers. We have a book bank from which needy students can borrow books on a

| Garden | |
 Our 21 acre grounds are laid out with expansive
manicured lawns. These are dotted with numerous species of plants and flowers providing a
peaceful haven and refuge from the bustle of city streets. |

| Canteen | |
 The College
canteen is a favorite spot for students and teachers. Throughout the day it echoes
with gales of laughter and the chatter of students. The canteen provides snacks and
beverages at affordable prices. |
|
| Computer Lab | |
 For bites you visit the Canteen but for
bytes you visit the Computer Lab, one of them with total IBM equipment and latest in
software & operating system. |

| Bank | |
| There is a special bank counter inside the college for our students and staff only. | |
| P.C.O | |
| Near the hostel there is a P. C. O. with S.T.D. facility. | |
| Cyber Cafe | |
| There is also a Cyber Café inside the college for our students and staff only. | |
| In its just concluded Platinum Jubilee Year, Indraprastha College had a glorious past to look back upon. But we don't rest on our laurels. Everyday, we strive to better ourselves, to move with times while nurturing our traditions. | |
| As one of the oldest women's colleges in the country, I.P.(as we mostly call ourselves) has always played a pioneering role, blending the grace of tradition with radical innovation. | |

| Saraswati - The one who is white like the Kunda (Jasmine) flower, the moon, the snow and a pearl necklace, the one who is clad in a white raiment, the one whose hands are adorned with the beautiful arm of the Veena, the one who is seated on a white lotus and the one who is even revered by the divinities like Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the sustainer) and Shiva (the beneficial annihilator).
