| An Hons. Course means 8 to 28 papers in one of the above subjects. This is like majoring in a subject in American Universities. Also, the student will need to appear in one paper in English, one in Hindi or Sanskrit and two to three in two related Arts/Social Sciences subjects. These are equal to minor subjects. Student is required to do a credit, non credit and a concurrent credit course in first year and two discpline subjects in second year subjects . |

| From the1999-2000 session we introduced a three year integrated Degree course in Mass Media and Mass Communication (B.M.M.M.C). Students are selected through Test/Interview held in June/July. The scheme of Examinations is annual except for B.Sc. Computer Science and Mass Media Communication for while it is semester system. Centralised Examinations are conducted by the University of Delhi in the months of April and May every year, i.e. the students of a particular course/subject enrolled in different colleges have to answer the same question paper.
Pass/Promotion requirements to the next year/semester differ from course to course. Our copy of Ins & Outs given to students at the beginning of each academic session carries all the details. |

- 22.5% (15 for SC and 7.5 for ST) of the seats reserved for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories.
- 5% of the seats reserved for the children of armed forces/para military personnel killed in action.
(Registration of A & B applicants is done centrally by Delhi University. This schedule is announced in the newspapers/Bulletin of information published by the university in May/June every year.)
- * 5% of the seats reserved for the applicants outstanding in sports.Trials of their sports ability are held on the dates put up on the college notice boards in early June.
- * Upto 10% concession is given in marks requirement for admission to various courses to the Physically/ Visually disabled students. They need to get a certificate from the Delhi University Health Center.
- * Foreign students applying under the special quota for them should do so through the Foreign Students Adviser, University of Delhi.
- * Students with outstanding extra-curricular abilities may also be considered for admission after trial-tests.
